Mudras
Mudras is a photographic series that explores the subtle language of the body through intimate physical gestures , inspired by mudras but without becoming formal postures or asanas. Photographed in a completely dark interior , the scene is illuminated only by a soft side light that outlines the main couple against a deep black background , creating a minimalist, elegant, and visually charged interplay of shadows.
The magic of the series lies in its process: the models moved around in a dark room, with only the frame's boundaries defined. When they achieved the desired pose, they uttered "Om," and at that instant the photographer fired the flash, capturing a pure, spontaneous, and almost ritualistic moment.
The result is a collection of images that combine intimacy, energy, and stillness , where every gesture acquires symbolic meaning and an almost sculptural presence. It's an ideal collection for lovers of contemporary art, conceptual photography, and pieces that convey emotional depth and mystery.
